Your Captains
Rod McLeod has over ten years experience sailing the waters of Maine and Chesapeake Bay. His navigation skills, chart reading and use of radar was learned in the US Navy, navigating an aircraft carrier in and out of ports throughout the Pacific. Additionally he is bareboat certified by US Sailing and currently holds a US Coast Guard Captain's license.
Debbie Kirkland is a lifelong sailor with over 40 years of experience. Growing up she spent every summer on an island in Casco Bay, Maine. She learned to sail on a ten foot O'Day Sprite, then sailed competitively on a 21 foot Ensign for five summers. After moving to Virginia she obtained her Coast Guard Captain’s license. She is also certified in Bareboat cruising by the US Sailing Association. After purchasing Sea Fever she and Rod spent one year living aboard the vessel.
